This is a New Testament translation in the Rana Tharu language, published in 2025 by The Word for the World International in partnership with the Rana Tharu Translation Samithi, based in Khatima, Uttarakhand, India. The translation is written in the Devanagari script. Rana Tharu (ISO 639-3: thr) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the Rana Tharu people in the Terai region, specifically in the Kanchanpur and Kailali districts of Sudurpashchim Province in Nepal, as well as in parts of Uttar Pradesh and the Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand state in India [1][2].
