Buksa New Testament

Overview

The New Testament in Buksa (बुक्सा) was published in 2023 by the New Life Computer Institute (NLCI), a Bangalore-based NGO that manages scripture translation projects across 36 minority Indian languages. The digital NT is available on YouVersion (version 4067, abbreviation TKB) and with audio through Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH code TKBNLC). The text uses the Devanagari script.

Joshua Project records a complete Bible (BibleStatus 5) for Buksa with portions dating to 2016 and an NT in 2023, suggesting the full Bible may exist in print form. However, only the New Testament has been confirmed in digital distribution channels.
