Takwane New Testament (TKEWBT)

Overview

The Takwane New Testament was published in 2007-2009 by Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Takwane language, spoken by approximately 368,000 people in Mozambique. SIL missionaries Roland and Susan Seiler (Wycliffe Canada) were involved in the project, with Roland providing technical and IT support to translation teams across Mozambique from Nampula, and Susan doing Scripture typesetting and desktop publishing for what is described as the "Takwane Hybrid Bible."
