Francisco León Zoque New Testament (ZOSTBL)

Overview

The New Testament in Francisco León Zoque (Jomepø Testamento) was published in 1978 by Wycliffe Bible Translators. [1] Linguistic and translation work on Francisco León Zoque was carried out by SIL missionaries Ralph Engel and Mary Allhiser de Engel, who also produced a bilingual Zoque dictionary in collaboration with José Mateo Álvarez. [2] Francisco León Zoque (also known as Chapultenango Zoque) is spoken in the municipalities of Francisco León and Chapultenango in northern Chiapas, Mexico. [3]
