Guevea of Humboldt Zapotec New Testament (ZPGWBT)

Overview

The Guevea de Humboldt Zapotec New Testament was published in 2018 by Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Guevea de Humboldt Zapotec language (also called Northern Isthmus Zapotec or Didz-rieʼ), spoken by approximately 4,000 people in the Yautepec District of Oaxaca, Mexico, with about 5% monolinguals. [1] SIL researchers Barbara Morse and Donna M. Kreutz produced linguistic and translation materials for this language dating back to the 1980s. [2]
