Zyphe Chin New Testament (ZYPWBT)
Overview
The Zyphe Chin New Testament was published in 2010 by Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Bible Society of Myanmar as the first Scripture in the Zyphe Chin language. Zyphe Chin (also known as Vawngtu or Zophei) is spoken by approximately 21,000 people in Chin State, Myanmar, and Saiha District, Mizoram, India, with three dialects: Chin Vuangtu, Lower Zyphe, and Upper Zyphe. [1] The printed edition (ISBN 9781921445828) features parallel Zyphe Chin and English text with color maps. [2] A related Vuangtu Holy Bible (in the Vuangtu dialect) was also released around September 2010. [3]
