Coslett Quinn (1907-1995) was a minister in the Church of Ireland, and after taking the post of Professor of Biblical Greek at Trinity College, Dublin. In 1961, he translated the Psalter for Leabhar na hUrnaí Coitinne (The Book of Common Prayer) of the Church of Ireland in 1965. This translation follows the version of the Great Bible of 1539.
