The only or majority language in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo. Also in northeast Delta state and southeast Rivers state, Oyigbo LGA and Opobo part of Opobo-Nkoro LGA, and alongside Ibani [iby] in Bonny LGA.
