Samuel Clarke Bible Portions

Samuel Clarke (1675 – 1729) was an English philosopher and Anglican cleric. He is considered the major British figure in philosophy between John Locke and George Berkeley.
Samuel Clarke (1675-1729) was the compiler of this eminent book of Precious Bible Promises (1750). "Whereby are given unto us Exceeding Great and Precious Promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the Divine Nature" (2Pe 1:4). As an English academic, theologian, and preacher, Clarke would be found mastering Isaac Newton's new system of the Universal Laws of Motion and translating an invaluable textbook to introduce and promote Newton's position.
