Sainte Bible de Fillion
Louis-Claude Fillion (1843- 1927 in Issy, France) was a professor of Scripture and Hebrew and a French exegete. Ordained a priest in 1867 , admitted to the Compagnie de Saint-Sulpice, he was professor of Holy Scripture and Hebrew at the major seminary of Reims from 1871 to 1874, and at the major seminary of Lyon from 1874 to 1893 . In October 1893, he was appointed to the Catholic Institute of Paris where he occupied the chair of exegesis.
