Code for undetermined script
Script: Zyyy
The ISO 15924 code Zyyy (also represented in Unicode as Common) is used for characters that are shared across multiple scripts and are not identified with any single writing system. This includes punctuation marks, digits (0–9), mathematical operators, whitespace, and many other general-purpose characters. In Unicode’s script classification, Common characters are those used in running text alongside characters of many different scripts. The designation does not indicate an unknown script but rather a deliberately script-neutral character category. It is contrasted with Zinh (Inherited), which applies to combining characters that take on the script identity of adjacent characters.
