The Waimaha 2010 Edition (U̶mʉreco pacʉ wederique) is a New Testament translation in the Waimaha language, published in 2010 by Wycliffe Bible Translators. [1] Waimaha (also known as Bará or Waimajã) is an Eastern Tucanoan language spoken by the Bara people in the Vaupés department of southeastern Colombia, primarily along the Colorado, Yapu, Inambu, Macucu, and Tiquié rivers. [2] Earlier Bible portions in Waimaha were completed between 1975 and 1999 before the full New Testament was finished in 2009-2010.
