Bomu 2012 Edition (BMQBSM)
Overview
The 2012 Bomu New Testament was published by the Bible Society in Mali. Bomu (also known as Boomu or Western Bobo Wule) is a Gur language spoken by the Bwa people in Burkina Faso and Mali. [1] The Bwa are divided into subgroups including the Red Bobo (Bobo Wule) and the White Bobo (Bobo Gbe), both of whom use the Bomu language. [2] This edition provides the New Testament Scriptures for a language community that had previously lacked printed Scripture in their mother tongue.

Bomu (ISO 639-3: bmq) is spoken by approximately 153,000 people in Burkina Faso and Mali. The Bwa languages, of which Bomu is one, are spoken by over half a million Bwa people across both countries.
