The New Testament in Kabwa (CWAWBT)

Overview

The New Testament in Kabwa, titled Eriragano Erihya, is the product of a roughly 14-year translation project completed in 2022. The Kabwa language community of northern Tanzania celebrated the dedication of the New Testament on November 17, 2023. [1] The launch was held at Bukabwa, in the Mara Region near Lake Victoria, where churches purchased hundreds of copies at the celebration. The project was carried out in partnership with Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL Tanzania. [1] The translation is available digitally through YouVersion. [2]
