New Testament in Southeastern Dinka (DKSLJK)

Overview

The New Testament in Southeastern Dinka, titled Lek jot de benydiitda ku duluen da Yecu Kritho, was published by the British and Foreign Bible Society (BFBS) in 1940. The translation grew out of Church Missionary Society (CMS) work among the Dinka begun in 1905 near Bor. The Rev. Archibald Shaw (1879–1956), a CMS archdeacon, led the work with Dinka assistants including Philip Anyang Agul, building on earlier Gospel portions printed by the British and Foreign Bible Society.
