Overview
The World Messianic Bible British Edition is a public domain translation of the Holy Bible into modern English as spoken among Messianic Jews outside of the United States of America; it is also known as the World English Bible: British Messianic Edition. The Messianic edition substitutes Hebrew forms (Yahweh, Yeshua) for the divine name and the name of Christ throughout, while retaining the underlying ASV-derived text. The British edition adjusts spelling and idiom for Commonwealth readers.
