Jamiltepec Mixtec New Testament (MXTWBT)

Overview

The Jamiltepec Mixtec New Testament, titled Tuhun cha sañahá ra Jesucristo chi yo, was first published in 1983 by Liga Bíblica Internacional (Bible League International), with the text copyrighted by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. [1] It was the first Bible translation in the Jamiltepec Mixtec language, spoken in the Costa Chica region of Oaxaca, Mexico. [2] The language is also known as Mixteco de la Costa Chica de Oaxaca, and this translation provides Scripture access to Mixtec-speaking communities along the Pacific coast of southern Mexico.
