Overview
The New Testament in Nahali, titled खेरलो वचन (Kherlo Vachan) in the Devanagari script, was published in 2020 by The Word for the World International and Nahali Vishwaseen Mandli (Nahali Believers' Assembly) in Toranmal, Dhadgaon, Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Nahali — endonym Kalto — is an Indo-Aryan language of central India. Its name is frequently confused with that of Nihali (ISO nll), a neighbouring language isolate not definitively related to any other language family, but the two are distinct languages. [1][2] Estimates of speaker numbers vary widely, from approximately 2,500 to 15,000. [1]
