Nyole New Testament (NUJWBT)

Overview

The Nyole New Testament (Endagaano Epyaha mu Lunyole) is a 2019 Wycliffe Bible Translators publication for the Nyole (Lunyole) language community in eastern Uganda, with approximately 756,000 speakers. [1][2] Nyole is a Bantu language, distinct from the unrelated Nyole of Kenya (nyd). The edition includes the full New Testament plus 10 Old Testament books. Bible portions in Nyole were first available in 2006–2009, with the New Testament completed around 2016–2019. [1] The text is distributed through eBible.org, YouVersion, and a dedicated Lunyole Bible app.
