The Ososo New Testament (2021) was produced by Mission for Language Translation (MLT) in cooperation with Wycliffe Bible Translators for the Ososo-speaking community of Edo State, Nigeria. Ososo (ISO 639-3: oso) is spoken by approximately 39,000 people in the Owan area of Edo State and belongs to the Edoid language family. MLT, which grew out of the Ika Bible Translation Project in Delta State in 1998 and was constituted as a formal missionary organization facilitating Scripture translation across Nigeria, completed the Ososo New Testament in 2021 alongside Bible portions, marking a landmark in Scripture access for this community. The New Testament is available for listening, and the Jesus Film in Ososo is also accessible through this resource.
