New Testament in Pengo (PEGWFW)

Overview

The New Testament in Pengo, titled ସତ୍‌ ବଚନ୍‌, ପୁନି ନିୟମ୍‌, was completed and published in 2020 by The Word for the World International and the Pengo Translation Samithi in Dasamanthpur, Koraput, Odisha. Pengo (also called Hengo, Pengu, or Pango Paraja) is a South-Central Dravidian language spoken by the Pengo Poraja people, primarily in Nabarangpur and Koraput districts of Odisha in eastern India. [1] The translation uses the Odia script and is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license through ebible.org.
