Persian Contemporary Bible (PESPCB)

Overview

The Persian Contemporary Bible (Tarjome-ye Tafsiri, ترجمه تفسیری) is a dynamic-equivalence translation into Persian, first issued in 1995 by the International Bible Society (now Biblica) and revised in later editions (2003, 2005, and 2018). It circulates widely among Persian speakers through digital platforms, including YouVersion, a channel of particular importance because the distribution of Christian literature in print is restricted inside Iran.
