Pamona New Tribes Mission Version (PMFNTM)

Overview

The New Testament in Tombelala—also called Mbelala or Belala, and known here as Pamona—was published in 2011 by Ethnos360 (formerly New Tribes Mission, rebranded in 2017). Tombelala is an Austronesian language of the Kaili–Pamona group spoken in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Its speakers self-identify as Pamona and share substantial lexical similarity with other Pamona varieties, which accounts for the Pamona label on this edition.
