The New Testament in Kaulong (PSSBIV)

Overview

The New Testament in Kaulong was completed in 2015 by Bibles International, which adopted the project in 2004. [1] Missionaries Craig and Linda Throop, who ministered among the Kaulong people on the southwestern coast of New Britain for over 30 years, led the translation effort. [1] The project encompassed both Kaulong language development and Scripture translation. Following completion, 1,000 copies of the Kaulong New Testament were distributed to believers in the Kandrian District of West New Britain. [1] In 2019, the literacy team printed 500 copies of a language learning primer along with readers on Creation and the life of Joseph and a Bible reading guide. [1] An audio recording of the New Testament is available through Faith Comes By Hearing.
