The Raji Audio Bible is a Scripture resource produced by YWAM Nepal (Youth With A Mission Nepal) for the Raji-speaking community of Nepal. Raji (ISO 639-3: rji) — also known as Ban Raji, Janggali, Barh Bandale, Rawati, and Phaan Bhaasaa — is spoken by approximately 3,800 to 4,900 people in the Terai foothills of Nepal, primarily in Kanchanpur and Dadeldhura districts. The Raji are recognized as one of Nepal's indigenous nationalities and have traditionally lived as forest-dwelling hunter-gatherers. The audio format of this resource reflects the oral communication strengths of the community and the broader mission strategy of YWAM Nepal in reaching marginalized indigenous peoples with Scripture in their heart language. Bible portions represent the primary Scripture access currently available to Raji speakers.
