The Romani Chergash New Testament, titled Biblija pe romani Čergarsko čhib, was copyrighted in 2018 by Pioneers and circulates under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license via eBible. Chergash is a Vlax Romani dialect spoken mostly in Serbia, with its greatest use in Vojvodina in northern Serbia; the language is also known as Vojvodin Romani, Serbian Romani, or Shiyak. By heritage, most Chergari are (Serbian) Orthodox. The Word for the World lists Chergash among three Romani New Testament projects it supports in Serbia and Croatia, alongside Arli and Gurbet.
