Ruwila is a Bantu language spoken by approximately 6,600 people in the Katavi Region of western Tanzania, concentrated in the Mlele District within the Nsimbo and Urwila wards. The language is closely related to Konongo and is sometimes considered a dialect of Nyamwezi, belonging to the Northeast Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo family. Wycliffe Bible Translators produced this audio New Testament for the Ruwila community, making Scripture accessible in oral form to a population with limited access to written materials. The recording is hosted's Bible.is platform in both MP3 and Opus audio formats, providing Ruwila speakers with the first dedicated audio Scripture resource in their mother tongue.
