The Common Language Ngambai Version (SBANVV)

Overview

The first Bible in Ngambai, dated 1993. A Common Language translation, with preface, chapter and section headings, text in double column format, inter-Gospel references, references, illustrations by Horace Knowles, glossary, and maps.

The Old Testament was translated by Doreen Barrie (Mission Évangélique d'Ubangi), Elie Reookilia Reouwai (Église Évangélique du Togo) and nationals Moise Méro, Bongembai and Ngakaibe.

A later Ngambay edition titled Maktub gə́ To gə Kəmee is distributed by the Bible Society of Chad, though its relationship to the 1993 edition has not been confirmed.
