Tamasheq 2003 Edition (TAQWBT)

Overview

The Tamasheq 2003 Edition is a New Testament translation in the Tamasheq language, a Tuareg (Berber) language spoken by approximately 500,000 people in Mali, particularly in the Timbuktu, Kidal, and Gao regions, and in Burkina Faso. The translation was completed in 2003 by Wycliffe Bible Translators. [1] Tamasheq is traditionally written in Tifinagh script, though this translation uses a Latin-based orthography developed for the language.
