Zapoteco de Aloápam New Testament (ZAQWBT)

Overview

The Zapoteco de Aloápam New Testament was published in 2021 by Wycliffe Bible Translators in the Aloápam Zapotec language, spoken by approximately 3,400 people in San Miguel Aloápam and San Isidro Aloápam in the Ixtlán District of the Sierra Norte region of Oaxaca, Mexico. [1] Aloápam Zapotec belongs to the Zapotecan branch of the Oto-Manguean language family. SIL linguist Marilyn Valverde is credited as a compiler on translation-related materials. Audio recordings were produced in 2019 by Hosanna/Bible.is. [2]
