New Zealand is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean with a population of approximately 5 million people. English, Māori, and New Zealand Sign Language are the official languages of the country. English is the most widely spoken language in New Zealand and is used in most official and business contexts. Māori, a Polynesian language, is also widely spoken and has been designated as an official language since 1987.

Religion:

New Zealand is a religiously diverse country, with a significant portion of the population identifying as unaffiliated or having no religious beliefs. Christianity is the largest religion in the country, with approximately 37% of the population identifying as Christian. The majority of Christians in New Zealand are either Anglican or Roman Catholic, with various Protestant denominations also represented. Other religions in New Zealand include Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and Sikhism, each accounting for less than 2% of the population.
