Languages:

Cyprus is an island country in the Eastern Mediterranean with a population of over 1.2 million people. The official languages of the country are Greek and Turkish. Greek is the most widely spoken language, with approximately 80% of the population speaking it as their first language. Turkish is spoken by approximately 20% of the population, mainly in the northern part of the island. English is also widely spoken, particularly in business and tourism sectors.

Cyprus is a religiously diverse country, with Christianity being the most widely practiced religion.
