Ditammari Bible (TBZBSB)

Overview

The Ditammari Bible is the first complete Bible in the Ditammari (Tammari) language, an Oti-Volta (Gur) language spoken by approximately 245,300 people in northwestern Benin and northern Togo. It is the language of the Betammaribe (Tamberma) people of the Atakora department of Benin and the Kara region of Togo. Published in 2001 by SIM International, the translation was produced by the Alliance Biblique du Bénin (Bible Society of Benin) with SIM International holding the copyright. [1] The full Bible is titled "Bibiri Kuyie Nnɑ́ɑǹtì Pɑ́tíri" in the vernacular. A New Testament audio drama edition followed in 2007, released through Faith Comes By Hearing.
